Hi, I am trying to find the best diamond I could get with the budget of $13000 for stone only.
I'm looking at diamonds with D-E color, VVS2, triple EX, no fluorescence and HCA score < 2.0.
And I've found 3 diamonds that I like so far.
Diamond 1:
Size: 1.32 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 56
Depth: 61.8
CA: 34.5
PA:40.8
HCA score: I don't know yet.
Diamond 2:
Size: 1.24 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 57
Depth: 62
CA: 35
PA:40.8
HCA score: 1.5
Diamond 3:
Size: 1.26 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 58
Depth: 61.9
CA: 35.5
PA:40.8
HCA score: 2.8
I really liked diamond 3 until I found out its HCA score is 2.8. I was so frustrated.
And I talked to the customer service to discuss about diamond 3, I was told that the diamond has great fire and brilliance, so I shouldn't be worried because of its 2.8 hca score. Should I not be worried about a hca score?
And which diamond should I choose?
My original diamond was so perfect (to me), and now it makes me really depressed because I haven't had any luck to find a diamond I really love...
Please please help me choose a diamond for my replacement engagement ring.
