Hi, I am trying to find the best diamond I could get with the budget of $13000 for stone only.
I'm looking at diamonds with D-E color, VVS2, triple EX, no fluorescence and HCA score < 2.0.
And I've found 3 diamonds that I like so far.

Diamond 1:
Size: 1.32 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 56
Depth: 61.8
CA: 34.5
PA:40.8
HCA score: I don't know yet.

Diamond 2:
Size: 1.24 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 57
Depth: 62
CA: 35
PA:40.8
HCA score: 1.5

Diamond 3:
Size: 1.26 ct
Color: E
Quality: VVS2
Cut/Polish/Symmetry: Ex-Ex-Ex
Fluorescence: None
Table: 58
Depth: 61.9
CA: 35.5
PA:40.8
HCA score: 2.8

I really liked diamond 3 until I found out its HCA score is 2.8. I was so frustrated.:(
And I talked to the customer service to discuss about diamond 3, I was told that the diamond has great fire and brilliance, so I shouldn't be worried because of its 2.8 hca score. Should I not be worried about a hca score?
And which diamond should I choose?
My original diamond was so perfect (to me), and now it makes me really depressed because I haven't had any luck to find a diamond I really love...:cry2:
Please please help me choose a diamond for my replacement engagement ring.

I'd pick #1 just based on the specs. Are these 3 stone from an in-house vendor?

No, I've been searching from online vendors, and they are all virtual diamonds.

Use the PS search tool and make sure to only look at stones with HCA under 2. Do you 100% need D/E color? If you get a super ideal stone, you can certainly go "down" in color to F or even G. Let me see what I can find with the PS tool.

Then how can the vendor give you a description of diamond #3?

B2C does this all the time. They talk to their suppliers (I assume), and then give info to customers based on that. But I still wouldn't do it based on the HCA score.
