Paraiba conversion ring/pendant

I wanted to share pictures of my first custom project: a paraiba conversion ring/pendant, created by David Klass with paraiba center from Paraiba International and paraiba melee from Yvonne Raley.

A big "thank you" goes out to the PS community because I wouldn't know how to even start a project like this without my years of lurking! I'm also grateful to the PS-recommended vendors listed above because they were all knowledgeable, patient, and beyond helpful on this journey.

I saw this on Instagram and was immediately in love. It’s absolutely gorgeous and that paraiba is glowy!! I love that it’s a convertible piece and the side paraibas are just the perfect touch.

The shirt wasn't even planned! I normally don't try to match but have noticed how many things in my life are the same color... I guess it's a sign!

When you chose your gorgeous gem from PI, did you find the photos and videos to be true to life?

My stone never made it to the website. When I started my search I knew I wanted a pear and for it to be larger than the stones around 7 x 5 mms I was seeing on many vendor websites. I started contacting vendors on the PS-list and luckily Adam from PI got some pears in stock shortly after I reached out. He showed me a couple options, including one I passed on which eventually made it to the site. Based on what I saw of that stone, I believe the pictures on the site represent color accurately, but I don't think (to my eyes) the videos do the stones justice and don't capture the "glow". My stone knocked my socks off when I got it in person!

Also, Adam was very helpful with hand comparison videos and pics and we were able to negotiate on a few things so the extra effort was worth it.
