Thanks to all the amazing help on here (I’m now a proper stalker of diamonds and wished I’d found you all before I bought my ER diamond!)

I have now found a great UK jeweller who will reset my 1.4 omc h si. My question is which setting?! . I’m in a quandary and just can’t choose, I love the idea of a vintage/Art Deco look and for that I need some shoulders I think? but I also love the current thin band/plain solitaire simplistic look.

I have narrowed my choices down to two ideas, inspired (but not copied, copyright queens!) by a few rings. I am totally flummoxed which style to choose. I know I want 18k fairly thin band (2mm) and platinum prongs. I know I want to enhance the sparkle and size of the 1.4 omc centre stone. I know I want it mediuim profile (no snagging). I know I like classy and not to bling but also showstopping (not asking much!)

So what style inspiration?!! I’m so torn. I’d do a poll but I’m not sure how!

I love the simplicityand millgrain of these

But the vintage class of this style

And this is mine as it stands

Please help me choose PS setting experts! I’ve never liked the bling of pave bands on me, and however short the shoulders are, I feel it’s going look pave-like but I want to enhance the diamond and be a showstopper! I’m going round in circles. Help me!
