Looking for diamond earrings, please help!

Hi guys, LONG TIME AGO poster, happy to be back! I need your help!

My darling BIL just sent out an SOS to help him find a pair of diamond earrings for my sis for Xmas. (So we don't have much time!)

He is looking for WG, omega or lever backs, with about a 1" dangle. Budget is about $2K but could likely stretch a bit.

I am sooo outta the buying loop - all I could think of to guarantee killer stones is BGD and WF. And WF has nothing he likes. I found these @ BGD, though, both "potentials":

I thought these were lovely, and with JA's current 25% off sale, they come in to near-ish his budget. Nice quality stones, too; JA's melee is a step up compared to something like Blue Nile's, for example. I'm not sure of the length of these, but they look about right, and they have the right backs, also. FYI - the same ends tomorrow.

Unfortunately, none of those gorgeous earrings would work for this particular project.

She is mostly a casual girl, jewelry taste runs modern to classic... and she wants something rather simple and good for everyday with jeans and a T or date night with her hubby.

With all that in mind, the criteria I have been given are: WG, diamonds, lever or Omega back, dangle length of about an inch. Budget $2K.

I am really having a TOUGH TIME!!! Please keep the suggestions coming!!! THANK YOU! xo
