Hydrafacials versus ordinary "deluxe" facials

Anyone have experiences? I'm signed up for my first one in January. I'm trying to get serious about my skincare (again). I'm 45 now, and I've been on-and-off with medical-grade skincare. I love SkinMedica products. I've done occasional facials, but nothing in the last two years or so. I went in for a "deluxe" facial yesterday and the woman was talking about the benefits of the Hydrafacial that they offer. I decided to go for it. Anyone with experiences they'd like to share? They have an "add-on" for hands, and I think I'm more concerned with my hands aging than my face.

I used to get it done. I think it made some difference. However, not a ton. The first week, a difference, then back to baseline. I think the everyday care is more important. I'm not great at a routine but I try. I'm 38. I have some eye crinkles, but that's it. Maybe that's why my experience was what it was.
