Any feedback on this stone? We had been considering a superideal but found this GIA triple ex which is eye clean and a good price for the size. We wanted to optimize fire in the stone and had read that we should consider around 35 degree crown angles with a 40.6 pavilion, but read conflicting things about whether 35.5 was considered ideal.

HCA 1.3

2.3 ct.
Table: 57%
Depth: 61.8%
Crown: 35.5
Pavilion: 40.6
Girdle: Med to Slightly thick faceted
LGF: 80%

Is it eye clean? Does the table inclusion bother you?

Sure, worth considering. Personally, I prefer the fatter arrows of a 75% LGF, but 80 isn’t terrible.

Also, what is the upgrade policy?

It's eye clean (I cannot see the table inclusion without mag, and only at certain angles with 10x mag) and it's from IDJ, so there is some sort of upgrade policy, but basically at market value of the stone as far as I understand. It's pretty big (almost too big for me with my small fingers?!) so I doubt I will want to upgrade in size anytime soon.

FYI, diamonds will shrink about .15mm per yr. ;)). How much for the stone? color and clarity?

Yes, I can't see much of a difference between I and H which is what we were looking at, but face up they all look the same to me, even down to a G color.

Ok so it sounds like you found a contender. Congratulations!
