Help a newbie choose a princess cut diamond

Hi all,

As the title suggests, I'm new to this whole diamond thing so any help would be super appreciated.

I would like to get the best value for money princess cut diamond within a $5.6k (~$8k AUD) budget.

I've read up on princess cut diamonds (including the Pricescope wiki and this guide) and have been trying to source the right one, but it's proven to be difficult.

I live in Australia and have been looking at Blue Nile due to their convenient GST-applied-at-checkout feature, so ideally I'd like to buy from them. I also understand they do a 1.5% discount for bank wire which has swayed me toward them.

Desired features:

-1.1ct and above
- D, E, F, G color
- SI1, VS2, VS1 clarity
- Measurements.. as big as possible!

i.e. something like this but slightly less expensive

I would suggest you check Whiteflash. WF sells a signature Princess that I assume shows the best light return. Best of luck.

Whiteflash has AGS000 Ideal ACA Princess cut stones. Maybe a tad smaller than you're looking for. They have Ideal light return and all the images
needed to show how they perform.
