Show me your 6-prong settings!

Hi everyone,

Since swapping my asscher for an RB, I have been looking for a new ering setting. I have always loved the look of RBs in 6-prong heads, but I see a lot more 4-prong these days. I am still undecided about which look I like best, so I would love to see any RBs in 6 prong heads - solitiares are great, but I would also love to see settings with sidestones.

My Original ER is a 6 prong swirl setting. The stone was small, .30ct. I''ve always thought that this setting would look cool with a much bigger diamond.

I like the 6 prongs. I feel like having 6 protects the stone at more angles. I also think depending on the shape/size of the prongs it can make the stone look even bigger. Here''s mine.

Coatimundi, that has to be one of my all time favorite combos here on pricescope. I love it! It is so classic, yet unique at the same time.

Gorgeous rings everyone! I think that I am dead set on wanting a 6 prong now - I like the idea of some micropave around the prongs and head, and maybe even on the shank. Either something like Dita Von Teese''s ering on the celeb thread, or something like Ashley Judd''s, but with a 6-prong head instead of 4 prongs. I wonder if Leon would do that ... I haven''t seen him make any 6-prong designs.

Not only do I like the "rounder" look the 6 prongs give the diamond, I think I want the extra protection to the stone. I''m a bit of a clutz, and constantly am knocking it into doorframes & such, so I would love to have the security of the 6 prongs.

I have a six prong head and also think it makes the center stone look rounder. I had a four prong on my previous set and prefer this head.

My first solitare a small round brilliant had a 4 prong setting and I changed it to a 6 prong setting when I had it reset, I think the 6 prong made it look bigger and prettier...I dont have any pictures as it was many years ago, way before digital camera''s
