6.33ct unheated Sri Lanka Sapphire in an antique inspired bezel cobblestone ring

However, I understand there isn’t a lot of crossover between SMTB and colored stones and I wanted to share my newest creation.

The stone is a 6.33 ct unheated Sri Lanka sapphire measuring 10.78x9.44. Set in an antique reproduction setting with 3.2 tcw of old cut diamonds in platinum. size 7.5. The setting was done by David Klass and as always they were impressive with their customer care and work. Love them.

As I said I DO NOT RECOMMEND it unless you don’t care if you break the prongs. I didn’t for this setting since I was going to scrap it anyways.

That stone looked so dull and lifeless in its original setting! It was crying for a new setting! Now its loud and proud!
