If your setting is 18KT, then the pictures do no justice to both the stone and setting. I know 18KT yellow is much more buttery than 14KT yellow and yet it looks almost white in your pictures. So if it looks whitish, then your yellow sapphire has to be sunnier than the pictures show. I’ll bet it is just awesome IRL, plus the simplicity of the setting allows the stone to just do its thing, which is to pop.

The ring is in 18k royal yellow gold, which is an alloy that is supposed to be even yellower than most 18k. It is not as rich as the sapphire. I wish it was, but this was as close as we were able to get. Its color is accurately represented on the hand shots, I think.
