I am really wanting a 5 stone ring to wear in place of my wedding set when ever it is needed. I would LOVE for all of the stones to be .30''s for substantial finger coverage. I have found one that has .20''s in the ring, online, but I guess my question is is how much of a difference is that going to be obviously .10 points and I know it will depend on finger size but do you think it is going to be a huge sz diff? I have not tried them on in person because there is no where around here with anything like that in stock. Should I wait for that perfect.30 size that I want that I know with compareing finger sizes and pics on PS will definately work? I guess I am just getting a little antsey for one ha I feel like Veruka Salt off of Willy Wonka and the Choc Fectory BUT I WANT IT NOW!!

I would go to a store and try them on in various sizes. Then look on line. I think it''s difficult to imagine exactly what the size will be on your unique finger. Alternately, you can print out the appropriate sizes from a diamond size chart and tape them to your finger...yes I have done this...often in fact

It will give you a pretty good idea (though still not perfect...) setting and how the stones face up will also be a factor...

Yup - just go try stuff on.

I tried on a 3/4 eternity with 0.35ct stones and it was very uncomfortable between the fingers, I''m not sure how you''d feel about 0.3ct stones but stone depth is also something to keep in mind

I agree with finding somewhere to try some rings on. I tried both 20 pointers and 30 for my 5 stone ring, and ended up going with the 20 pointers as they looked better on my finger for everyday wear...

Yeah I agree, I guess I''ll have to just look a little bit harder for someone to have them in a store for me to try on and get a size range on what is comfortable ex. And Bella that''s great ha I''ll have to try out the paper diamond trick!

Across the span of 5 diamonds the difference is about 1mm. That sounds like it isn''t much, but it really is a lot when you talk about visuals.

Try them on and see. If you want .30s then wait and get what you want. Trust me, if you buy something that isn''t *exactly* what you want it is a big waste of moolah.

My wife wears a size 6 ring, she retuned a .75 and got the 1ct (wf). She now would rather have the 1.25ct. We just had a 1.8ct graduated made for her right hand and there is a BIG difference. DDS!
