Gross story. Back in college, my ex bought some mrs. fields cookies. He dropped one while we were walking around the outdoor mall. Outdoor mall, w/ bird poo and dogs and such, not an indoor mall. Instead of leaving that cookie on the floor, he picked it up, dusted it off, and ate it!!! 10 years later, I am still disgusted.
Not a drop on the floor thing, but one of the things that won me over with my man is his ability to eat an entire snickers in one bite - sideways!!!!!!
I am a follower of the 5 second rule. Sometimes at work I would eat something off my office floor, but if someone else is around I would not. I will eat nearly anything that falls on my floor at home. If it is the last m&m I am tempted to eat it no matter where I drop it. I could be in a city street where I would never eat something that I dropped, but I would sit and think a few seconds if it was worth watever I might catch. Then I would pout to myself and miss that last piece for the rest of the day.
I totally follow the 5 second rule, especially in the case of hard candies... I mean come on...the last skittle? M&M? now, I will not eat dropped wet food. I will not eat dropped meat. I'm back and forth on cookies. I wouldn't eat dropped cake though.
hehe if i drop something on my floor at home i'll eat it...I'll eat vitamins, cookies, candy off of the floor but not eggs or steak or pasta. I have more of a 1 second rule.. need to beat the dogs to it
