5+ carat OEC

If anyone is aware of any inventory for 5+ carat OEC stones or has any recommendations about prices one might expect for these types of stones, I would appreciate hearing from you.

David Atlas on this Forum and THIS shop are the two places I would ask asap.

You may want to look at the prices for fancy cuts (ovals, radiants, peras, marq) as price refference for an OEC. However, what you are asking for is an exceptional period piece, and there will be a premium on its pedigree.

If you had time, an international auction would be the place to look for a good buy of this kind

BTW, there are two old mine cuts one about 3 cts F/IF one more than 7 carats F/VS listed on the PS database. And one Old European, D-IF over 2 cts. Small, but good, as they say. This is just to show that loose stones like this are not so rare that a quick buy be imporssible. Find an old ring of the style and specifications you want could take a bit more looking. But not too much, no worries
