My husband has kindly offered to get me an eternity ring. I have been looking at 5 stone rings but have quite thin fingers so people have suggested a 4 stone ring instead.

Would love to see any 4 or 5 stone rings people have and what carat/ finger size they have for comparison.

Thanks!

Ditto. Odd numbers look better ( I think that's a general consensus.)

Can you tell us what size stones you are talking about?

I've had both a 5 and 7 Stone.

Even number stones seem off balance to the eye. I’d go with a 5 stone band, even with thin fingers.
Do you have a specific cut in mind? What size stones are you considering?

Thank you for the replies. I was thinking 1.5 carat total weight, I have ring size 5.5 ish I think. How do you think this would look?
I was thinking round cut.
Thank you again!

I would go with a 5 stone band over an eternity ring. If you miss having diamonds all around in the future, reset and add more stones.

5 30 pointers should be no problem. They will curve the setting so that the stones give you edge to edge coverage that is appropriate for your finger size.

Some cultures deem the number 4 unlucky

You can also do 5 .25ct rounds & achieve 3/4+ Eternity coverage.
I’m a size 5.5. I wear a size 6 ring for heat & humidity comfort.
I have 7 .25ct vintage Asschers for a band I intend to build, this summer. Asschers face up smaller than rounds, and my diamonds will cover 3/4 of my finger....

I've got a 5 stone 1.5-carat band in a 6.75 and there is plenty of finger coverage across the front..

Thanks:) It's a shared prong setting by IDJ. I asked them to "pinch" in the prongs for a more scalloped look.
