4 rocks to choose from (WF vs BN)

Hi,

My friend recommend me this forum and I have been looking around for weeks. I am shopping for a engagement ring for my girlfriend and would like to ask for some opinions on the following:

1) Bluenile == 1.17/Signature Ideal/$8800
2) Bluenile == 1.09/Signature Ideal/$8192 (Culet = Very small, not pointed... does it matter?)
3) WhiteFlash == 1.05/A cut above H&A/$8317
4) WhiteFlash == 1.04/A cut above H&A/$8238
** All AGS Ideal 0 Cut/G color/VS2 Clarity and with AGS report

Honestly, I don''t think I can really tell the difference in person but based on AGS repots, both 3 and 4 have less flaws (just crystal and clouds, no feather) but 1 and 2 are but not bad either.

One thing about Bluenile is I can''t see the real picture (the GCAL looks really hazy) while WhiteFlash offers some good shots. I really like 1 (biggest!!) but I am more towards 3 or 4 for now just because of this.

As far as the H&A, Bluenile told me that both 3 and 4 will display H&A patterns, so I guess both "Signature Ideal" and "A cut above H&A" should be on par.

So.. which one would you pick? I know many folks bluenile experience, is it ok to buy the rock even they don;t have much photos available?

Well A cut above will be a gorgeous stone from WF and they have a great upgrade policy so that would be my choice in case your sweetie ever decides to upgrade. Can you post the links to the stones so we can help you?

Yes, you''ll be able to see a size difference between 1.17 and 1.04 carats, mostly if they''re side-by-side....

If the larger size is worth the extra $$ to you and your girlfriend, then stone #1 is an excellent choice; it''s an AGS0. And she might be happier knowing that her diamond is comfortably above the 1-carat mark. Just my opinion.

First of all, let me just mention that the actual prices of the two WF diamonds are $7826 and $7901 with the wire/pricescope discount.

WF also has a beautiful G VS2 at 1.08 carats ($7376 w/discounts) and just a tiny bit smaller than the one from BN:

It got Excellent instead of Ideal on polish and symmetry, and that is something that you can''t even see. So this is a really great stone for the money, I think!

It looks like #1 is a more popular choice for now..

What is the wire/pricescopr discount??? Do we have similar discount with BN?

As far as the suggested one from WF, it looks really nice but I want to keep it at best cutting, although I am not sure if I can really tell the difference in person.

BN gives a discount for bank wires.

How about WF? Anyone know do they have discount on bank wire?

And what is the pricescope discount about?
