Dont't believe everything you read. Some appraisal firms set a very high limit on what they would claim to be "retail". If it looks like it, smells like it and tastes like it, then it probably is exactly what you think it is. How much more does one needs to know trustworthy info from nonsense?
assuming those numbers are not a typo... and this particular flat, tinted, included piece actually looks way better than what the grades and numbers let believe...
isn't that price (the $8500, not the appraisal) a tad high ?
It may not be allot for a diamond (which, actually is not true), but I would not be happy to loose them either
if the stone is I2 clarity and M color, according to rapaport dimond report, it list for $1700 per carat which comes out to $5882 for the whole stone.....this is without a discount. i don't know how AIG can appraise it for $22,000
