Hi all, first time poster.
I've done my reading, and am looking at purchasing a pear or oval diamond for an ering. I'm looking for something eye clean, well-cut (minimal or no bow-tie), and that faces up white-ish (warm is ok, yellow isn't). Sized as large as possible within the budget of $20,000 US.
I have considered this diamond https://www.jamesallen.com/loose-diamonds/pear-shaped/3.02-carat-k-color-vs2-clarity-sku-904624. I have the ASET from James Allen as well.
Oh wise PriceScope community - does this diamond pass my own criteria? My concerns are that the K color grade won't be close to white (even with strong blue fluor), or that the bow-tie will be too prominent. Should I be going smaller in exchange for better color/cut?
I'm at your mercy.
