We''ve ordered this beautiful a.jaffe set with the w-ring designed to curve into the e-ring. I love it except I''d also like to have something that I could wear alone but also with the set. Do you think this goes? Or, should I get a plain platinum one?

Here''s the set (except it has round side diamonds on the e-ring)

Such difficult questions!

please someone reply :)

Very honestly, I''d have to say I don''t think that ring would go with your set at all. I don''t really see a plain band with it either. I see nothing wrong, however, with having another wedding band to wear when you are not wearing the set. I just don''t think it will look right to wear an extra band when the other rings are a matched set. This is easier to do, IMO, when the bands are straight instead of curved.

I think you should get the ring that matches or set and wear it as a set. then get something else either plain or with diamonds to wear as a stand alone when you''re not wearing your "set." I did this when I was first married. I worked at a YMCA and did not want my diamond around all the pool chemicals etc. and my wedding band was soldered to the e-ring so I couldn''t wear it by itself, so i bought a plain 5mm band to wear while I worked.

very cool set!
I would wear that set as is, and buy a separate different one, either a think plain band or a nice blingy diamond band!!
fun to have other options!!

I agree with the others, that set is too pretty to add another ring to it! Get a seperate band to wear when you do not want to wear the set, but not all together.

I agree with the others, the set is beautiful as is. I would get another band to wear alone if you wanted for an anniversary or other type of present. It''s always fun to have an excuse to buy more bling.

I think you could wear a plain thinnish plat band on the other side of the e-ring, not next to the wedding ring. But then the order would be kinda mixed up on your hand and you''d have to take them all off just to wear the plain band...soooo maybe what everyone else said!

I''ll be completely honest, I love your ring as a stand-alone ring best! I think it would also look great with a plain plat band.

I''m a fan of wedding bands that can stand alone, ie - not curved or dependent on the e-ring to make sense. I totally could go for a custom spacer ring that was curved on one side and straight on the other to bridge the two LOL something with a lower profile...

Thanks so much everyone - a big help. I think I will get a band to wear separately from the set then.
