Looking for recommendation for a pair of earrings up to around two cr and up to about $10,000 in price but preferably lower around $8000 mark or even slightly less. Must be from Blue Nile. Vs2 clarity although would entertain si clarity if Eye clean.

Must be super ideal. Can either choose 2 matching diamonds and I can set them into earrings or pick out a matched pair. Picking individually might be better. Would like them to match in size to about 0.10 mm or less.

Thank you!

Love hearts on fire Sparkle.

Blue Nile doesn't carry superideal stones. That is not their specialty. You'd need to go to Whiteflash or High Performance Diamonds for superideal cut pairs.

These are measurements to help you stay in ideal cut territory with a GIA excellent cut stone.

table: 54-58

depth: 60-62.3

crown angle: 34-35.0 (up to 35.5 crown angle can sometimes work with a 40.6 pav angle)

pavilion angle: 40.6-40.9 (sometimes 41.0 if the crown angle is close to 34)

Thank you. You helped me recently choose 5.08 almost heart on fire stone for engagement upgrade. Lost password so signed to for new username.

The 5.08 is amazing. Thank you again.

These earrings will get traded up eventually so maybe then will get more super ideal and spend more time picking them.

That’s a large range for the table. Is there a more ideal table I should look for? How does the table affect brilliance and fire? Should I plug the chosen stones into hca calculator?

No, there is not one best table size, but most you'll see in ideal cuts average around 56. You'll see few at 54. My preference is 55-56. There really is small visual difference in this narrow range. Again, most ideal cut stones are going to fall in that range. But a very large table like over 60% would mean more white light return, and a very small table with a high crown like an OEC may have more fire. But you aren't going to see much difference in reality between 55-57.

If you use my measurements, you'll get good HCA scores. I prefer staying in the measurements of 34-35 crown angle and 40.6-40.9 and not going into the outer parameters in parentheses. Aim for close to 34.5 crown angle and 40.8 pav angles. Those are my target but you can go down to 34 and 40.9 or up to 35 and 40.6 and probably be ok. I'd want the two stones to be fairly close in table size for sure and not too different in the angles, but you definitely do not have to exactly match the angles or table size!

You havent gotten much help because BlueNile does not make it easy to pick out well cut stones much less 2 well cut matching stones.
Why do you have to stick with BN? Are you out of the US? Or do you already have BN stones you are trading up?

If I stick with "Astor" the biggest I can find in your budget that BN picks out are 1.60 ctw H/SI1s at $7440. At BN you have to spend twice the amount to
upgrade so plan on $15k for next time. At $7440 you should go with WF (unless you have a good reason not too). Whiteflash has a nice pair, same size
for about $7500 and when you go to trade up there are no requirements like spending double what you originally spent. In a few years you could make
your way up to 2 carats (or bigger:mrgreen2:).

I picked out these two but they have a lot in the H range that are similar size/cost. I would let WF pick out the two that matched the best.

If you HAVE to stick with BN for a reason then ignore the above...;-)

What about 57 table
52.1 depth
35.5 and 40.8 angle?

I would consider white flash for this one. Reason I like Blue Nile is because I worked with them a lot.

I am ok with j color though and some fluorescence up to medium to reduce price while getting larger pair.

These will get traded up but still would like max sparkle.
