I have been meaning to do this for awhile but with the Fall semester starting up again and all I have been putting it off. Well..not long after I received my 1.18 L AVC my mom was won over by the chunky facets. With my parents 25th anni coming up next year, I said, (the good PSer that I am 
) you should definitely get one! But, she replied, I like a more traditional round shape. Weeellll then, I replied, you are in trouble, I mean *luck* 
. So back to stalking the GOG website I went...this time moms and I together. I dished out what she refers to as her "crash course" in diamonds.Only after about *maybe* a week of us looking, watching, me introducing her to the world of PS, this puppy appeared in a video of recent AVC/AVOEC additions to GOG inventory. Now my parents anniversary is not until next April....but when we saw it 
I simply said thats it, thats the one. She wasn't quite convinced at first, granted we had *just* started getting a feel for what she was looking for in size, color, etc...setting style hadn't even been discussed yet. SO we sent an email to GOG about this and a couple others (mom still wasn't sure about the L color, even though she barely noticed the color in my L AVC) she already had a RB D pendant so I guess that was one of the reasons for her hesitation. But after frequent visits to GOG and Vimeo and more agonizing I finally said this one is big enough to be your 'forever' diamond you will never have to upgrade. So On Hold it went!!!
