Looking for a bit of help/confirmation as I make a decision. I'm in the process of buying a cushion cut diamond for an engagement ring and need some help confirming I'm making an informed purchase. I've been quoted, $18,400, which seems like a good price based on my research from both local jewelers in Chicago and the internet.

Can anyone provide some feedback based on the information I've provided?

Thanks, All.

Bump. I’m in bed so maybe someone else can help.

Can anyone help with this cushion brilliant?

Unfortunately, we cant tell much from the numbers for a cushion. Do you have any up close photos, aset image, or up close videos of the stone?
Anything else you can post that might help us?

Depth and table look fine...price is a tad higher than on-line but seems reasonable for a Brick and Mortar. It is facing up a tad larger than the stones
that I looked at of the same weight (which is nice).

However, I cant tell you anything about the cut, faceting pattern, or how well it is returning light (the important things).

If you've got any other info...post it please.

It is virtually impossible to predict light performance for a cushion cut or any other fancy shape diamond.

Please post a link to the diamond and/or photographs.
