Hello all!
I have now acquired my mother's 17ct tourmaline that she wishes to set. She has a very particular setting that she is absolutely in love with, but I have no idea who could be able to make it. I recently had a custom ring made by DanielM, but this doesn't seem to be his style.
Here are some pictures *ETA: of the setting my mom wishes to have made*:

I am terribly confused. It looks set already. Is your mother's tourmaline not the one pictured in the ring? Where is this setting from?

Oops! I'm sorry for any confusion!
No, my mothers's tourmaline is not yet set, but that is in fact a set tourmaline ring. This is the setting she found a year ago, fell in love with, and saved the pictures to her computer. All she knows was that it was an estate ring that was sold on ebay. From these pictures, who do you think could make an adequate replica?

Have you seen Daniel M's custom images page? He doesn't do a lot of pave on etsy, but there is quite a bit of it on the custom images page. You should convo them about it. Doesn't hurt to ask!

I would contact Jewels by Erica Grace- I don't know if they do custom settings but I think they could at least point you in the right direction.

Single Stone or JbEG..

Thank you very much!!

stunning setting that will present her color stone well.

ps no idea re who to have make it but i do hope you post pictures when it is completed.

It's done!!!! I gave it to my mom for her birthday and she was just beyond happy.

I worked with Daniel & Caren because they assured me that they could execute it and WOW did they do an amazing job. My mom is the biggest perfectionist I know and she can't find any flaw in it. Instead of the swirl that was on the original ring's profile, I had them make an infinity symbol because that holds much more meaning for us.

Here are their pictures:

It looks phenomenal on my moms hand-- as though it was always there. I done good!

Live pictures soon!

WOW! What a signature ring! It is very well suited to the tourmaline.

Absolute Kudos to Caren and Dan. Talk about well executed - just stunning.

Freakin' Fantastic!
Your mom must have been beside herself.
And Daniel did an amazing job.

Haha this was funny because I'd never seen the original post before and so when I opened it up I was really confused as to why you didn't think DanielM could make it because I'd just seen that in his sold settings. And admired it, because wow! That is a ROCK. And that setting is super blingy. I can just imagine the kind of woman your mom has to be to be able to wear this - I for sure could not pull it off! And even though I couldn't, I still want one because it is awesome!

It looks amazing WD! I had seen it in their sold section and remembered your post. More pics!

Wow! That is a gorgeous hunk of jewelry! It goes so well with the tourmaline -- I'm looking forward to pics of it on your mother's hand too! Beautiful job.

More pics!

Yet to get shots on her hand, but that'll be coming soon.
It looks ridiculous on my hand, quite literally like a little girl playing with her mom's jewelry. It looks SO perfect on her that I can't even describe it in words. It pretty much looks like this :cheeky: +

 Thank you for all of your compliments!!! Daniel and Caren did a beyond wonderful job and I truly am SO thrilled!

heheh, I went through exactly the same thought process as distracts!

What a beautiful kol'tso iz tourmalina :)) Cheers to making something beautiful for your mom!

It's beautiful! I like that the infinity is now closed (it looked open on the original inspiration ring). The ring has such a great presence!

Beautiful pictures - I am now inspired to attempt photography on my flowering orchids too. What are the white "crystals" in that one picture?

looks like quartz crystals......but i didn't even notice until you mentioned it, Chrono.....my focus has been the ring!

Thank you everyone! I just saw the comment about the white crystals, yeah it looks like quartz :))
