I having a time finding Blue Sapphires in around the $1000.00 range. I would be willing to up the amount if I am close to something that would be a real eye popper.

I am looking for a round, royal blue in the 6mm to 7mm size range. I guess heat treated would be okay. I have seen the concave cuts and they also look pretty but I would imagine they would be expensive?

I have found these two but I don't know if I can do better and if so where.

Any opinions or feedback would be great!

Thanks!

Shoots, good luck with you research.I definitely recommend giving Jeff White a call . Don't assume he will be too expensive - definitely worth speaking to him! He may be able to work within your budget and find you something outstanding! Let us know!

I have not bought from him, but he is award winning and his stones are good quality and well cut. I would also definitely contact Jeff White, as I have seen many beautiful sapphires on this forum that he has cut (don't know his prices). I just love blue sapphires!
