Horrid picture, but you get the idea. About 1 carat each, good color, HORRIBLE window...

I love them all! Blinding! I saw a violet one I found extremely appealing, but was concerned because I didn''t know they came in that color. Good to know!

Mine is 2 ct plus Mozambique cuprian that started as a violet colour, which was then heated to get the blue colour.

Here''s a few of mine. What I love is the neon glow. Even in dim light they should look like they have a little internal battery!

This is just over 4ct and is stunning but it has a mahooooooosive window!

The top ring is my favourite but it needs to come out of that dreadful setting into something more appropriate!

Highly included but it was my first ever Paraiba Tourmaline and it started a fetish!!!!

This one is from Mozambique. I would call it fuchsia. It has a bit tilt window, but in most light it just glows. I love seeing the copper needle inclusions, but again they don't show in most lights. I love cuprians of all colors! Most of the blue/green ones are heat treated so I prefer natural.

In pink tourmaline, the color is not caused by copper, something to note. You can find pink tourmaline without copper that looks identical to your stone. However, your stone is very lovely color. Pink copper bearing tourmaline cannot be treated to go blue. From experiments with heating them, they generally just turn lighter in tone and get less saturated.

My violet stone above does have copper, but is untreated. If it were heated, because of the copper, it would turn blue, so it's violet color has nothing to do with copper either.

Enjoy your gem!

Here is another one. This one is Mozambique (about 4 carats) and blue green. It turns baby blue in bright light.
Again -- native cut so it has a tilt window. Someday I will have it re-cut. The Mozambique dark blue stone is really special. It's a color change cuprian of nearly 5 carats. It changes from a sapphire blue in artificial light to violet in natural light. In some lights it shows seafoam green. It must have been cut from rough that had all three colors and they have blended magically in this tanzanite-like ring.

@ Xrisus, they're really beautiful. sometimes they're better with inclusions (and cheaper sometimes too! )

I have only one big ol cuprian thats violet in color. Its not the most well cut material but, I'm ok with that.
