I am in the process of ordering a WG diamond bracelet.

Is there any real difference between 14 or 18 c WG? Is one less shiny or durable? Why would I chose one over the other? I am assuming the 14 c one ie is cheaper.

Any help appreciated. the links are prominent and the WG will be on display.

thanks for your help

Both will have the same appearance because they will be rhodium plated. My opinion is that fine white gold jewelry will be in 18k. So unless it is just a casual, inexpensive piece, I''d definitely have it made in 18k.

If you do a search for white gold many threads will come up for looking at the difference. 18kt white gold has more gold in it than 14kt, but both are durable and like DS mentioned both need to be rhodium plated. If the price difference isn''t much, I''d go for the 18kt.

Which bracelet are you considering? I haven''t seen one that is offered in 14k and 18k gold. It seems like one or the other. I wonder what WF says is the difference.
