Final fitting post with pictures!

Hello,

I thought I''d post pics of my dress transformation. I found a Stephen Yearick at the Filene''s RotB. I started with this:

Changes made:

1. Mucho hemming! the dress & the crinoline
2. tailoring the mermaid flare to fit my size (short me!

)
3. taking in the sides all the way down, then letting it out a little
4. changing the neckline from straight to sweetheart
5. adding straps
6. 8 point under bustle

Total cost: $200. I have to say I''m pretty happy.

Ah, I realize I didn''t put a bustle picture, but my sis didn''t take very good ones, so I''ll post when I get my pro shots back. I know there''s a lot of ladies here looking for bustle shots. I''ll post what I have but like I said, it''s not the best....

Here she''s actually adding a little point on the sides to keep me from tripping while dancing.

Side note, I spent so much time worrying about my alterations on this dress, i forgot about my "party dress." Super cute short white beaded dress from BCBG. Well, BCBG makes dresses best for smaller breasts, and let''s just say it''s not working for me.

So I don''t get a party dress...

Yay for RotB brides! I think this dress looks great on you! And, I am crazy impressed that you got all those alterations for only a couple hundred bucks. Woohoo!
