Stretching patent pumps??

My DH got me this fab pair of Bandolino peep toe pumps a while back, and while they fit perfectly and look great, the outside edge of the left shoe bends in just enough to cause me major pain if I wear them for more than a few minutes. Just going to dinner and sitting at the table with them on left me bruised in that spot. I've tried wearing them around the house in hopes of it loosening up on its own, but so far no luck. Any tips on how to bend the edge of the shoe back to where it should be?? I don't want to mark up or wrinkle the patent finish. Thanks!!

Either take them to a cobbler and have them stretched, or buy a pair of those cedar (wooden) shoe inserts to form them properly. Lovely shoes, btw!
