10 year anniversary upgrade - Victor Canera Oval Sophia

Victor has done it again, I can't wait to see in person... but this is my dream ring he just completed. 2 carat oval F VS1 in VC's Sophia high crown french cut diamond setting. After 6 weeks I finally get to see it, and he nailed it! I appreciate all the posts on this site that unknowingly helped educate and guide me in my search for this anniversary ring. <3

Thank you everyone. It was a little nerve wracking spending so much on a ring without seeing it first, but Victor didn't disappoint. It arrived and is stunning! Now I just have to figure out what band to pair with it..

Beautiful ring - VC does such gorgeous work! I would keep a wedding band thin and minimal as there will be a gap between it and the engagement ring. Might want to ask VC his opinion or suggestion.

I have a ring with french side stones and I've tried a few different bands. I think a plain band looks best with it (2 mm). Adds a little oomph without taking away from the ring.

I have a similarly shaped ring — center is elongated cushion instead of oval — and after having it for a while, IMHO it looks best without a band.

Yes.. I was thinking the same thing! I have a small yg band that I kinda like with it actually. I also like the idea of a french cut eternity, but am thinking I may just do as others suggested and let it shine solo. Thanks for the comment!
