Found this little thing online and picked it up…..
I’m a professional photographer and noticed the jewelry is often photoshopped with flat lighting.
I adjusted the contrast to be more realistic… this adds saturation but I did not add saturation specifically or intentionally. That said stone looks like this.
This will by far be my largest, Alexandrite…. I feel like I can expect a strong color change based on the initial color I see here, but I would like you all opinion as to what I can expect on that.
I have a nice little collection of Alexandrites and odd/unique gems….
The setting is absolutely horrible. I don’t like it. I talked to David Klass about adding maybe some engraving or something to it as a cheaper scenario….. that might make it appear slightly more modern things like that so that I don’t have to totally reset it
Anyways, I’d love to hear your thoughts about what the color change may or may not be
