1/2 carat in Vatche?

Has anyone seen a 1/2 carat RB in the Vatche X prong setting? Is this setting too much for a smaller stone such as this? I very much like this style and it''s on my list of possibilities for my .42 which is going to be reset but wonder if this it too heavy. . .

Nobody's seen this setting with a smaller diamond??? I'm going to eventually go to one of the two D.Vatche dealers in my state, but can't for a bit of time and wanted to see if anyone has any opinions.

You're lazy when it comes to trying on jewelry? Lol, it's my favorite form of recreation. Every time I pass a jewelry store this crazy vortex thing happens and I get sucked through the door so fast I can't even think straight and when I regain consciousness I'm wearing a bauble too large and too expensive and there's a predatory sales clerk bending over me asking if she can wrap it for me to take today.
