Lori - I recognise the seller (he's from Ebay?). If so, his stuff tends to be very hit and miss. You might be lucky but this one looks very dark and included. Not sure how much the inclusions would show in real life. Are you ok with irradiated diamonds? Some people are/some aren't. I've got some irradiated greens that are beautiful (bearing in mind I could never afford a natural untreated green) but I try to find the ones with a high clarity but of course they come at a premium. :(sad

I like the color but it is a little dark. Wonder if the inclusions might affect brilliance -- it doesn't look eye clean to me.

Clarity : SI-3 (Fine Eye Clean) This is shocking to me....I see tons of "stuff" in this stone! I don't know the vendor, but wanted to see what y'all thought about this.

based on its size, I would call it a miss. to really reap the benefits of an asscher cut stone they have to be pretty darn clean. This one is too gunked up, how would you even get any sparkle out of it?

I realize that's a magnified photo but calling it "sea green after the BP oil spill" would be a more accurate description of the color. Big miss.

$3645 can buy a really really nice diamond.

Lori,
I think it's overpriced if the retail price is what you're paying for it. An irradiated blue of such poor color and clarity should not be around $3K/ct.

There is no way that I am buying this stone! I just wanted to see what y'all thought about the clarity vs. the vendor's listing of the clarity. This is on Ebay and the retail price isn't what the stone is selling for. Right now, it is less than $1000.

hahaha this exactly! Plus it is more like an I3, not SI3 :errrr:

I got so excited to see a "sea green" diamond!

I don’t have an issue with the cut and treatment, but it’s really expensive for a nuked diamond that is this included.

It's not just the inclusions, the color is terrible too. There are some irradiated blues that are quite beautiful. This is dark, and looks like a swamp.
