I’m thinking of getting the WF seven stone band for my 1.59 solitaire. I’ve searched older posts and it seems that 5-7 pointers look very balanced with 1.5ct solitaire. I would like to go for a blingier but still not too flashy look. I’m leaning towards 0.75 tcw. But I’m also wondering if I could pull off the 1 tcw band... hoping to see some new similar combo.

My diamond measurements are 7.50x7.54x4.63 mm. Finger size 4 but will size the ring to 4.25. E0989BB6-F98B-456B-B21A-8450DAC24CE5.jpeg

Without seeing them, I think the .75 ctw 7 stone will look more balanced with your e-ring. My 7 stone band is .84 ctw, which I had custom made by IDJ to pair with my 1.84 ct (7.87 mm) solitaire. Even after I upgraded my e-ring to 2.73 ct (9.03mm) I think it pairs well and don’t think I’d want to go with a bigger 7 stone band. GLD

Thanks, @Kaycee2018. I have been admiring your set for a while. Do you find that the band itself is substantial enough to wear by itself too? I have short fingers. With little kids, I’ll have days where I might just want to wear a band.

Thank you. When I had the band made, it was with the intention of being able to wear it alone as well as with my e-ring. While it is substantial enough on its own, I’ve found that it’s rare that I actually wear it alone. But I do like having the option. Have you considered purchasing both rings and returning one after you’ve seen them? I believe WF has a good return policy.

I have thought about it and I might just do that if they allow returns.

Maybe too overpowering? 83439AFB-E468-4CE4-A762-942A9C0937FC.jpeg 77C8A876-5F1E-471F-BFD1-F3D7DCF382F5.jpeg D2E0D43B-C17C-4595-BD94-97135C86C533.jpeg 07CE6D6E-ED7D-4A99-9FB3-B652221016B9.jpeg

Is this the one carat band? I think it looks nice but I sense that the optics aren’t pleasing to you?

It’s the 0.75 tcw. It might take me some time to get used to the look. I like the presence as a stand alone band though. Even though the stones are small. They are so pretty. I can even see the arrows in this size.

I agree - I think it looks great on its own as well as paired with your beautiful diamond.
