I see this a lot on various reports. Why aren’t they shown on the plot if it’s so noteworthy to add that commentary on the cert? :confused:

Clouds that aren't grade makers are mentioned for completeness but not mapped as this can make the clarity plot look messy unnecessarily and be off putting to buyers, such as 'additional clouds are not shown' if they aren't grade setters. The time to be wary is when it says ' Clarity grade is based on clouds which are not shown' in SI clarity grades, especially SI2. Or if clouds in SI grades are noted as grade makers, again it's best to check with a trusted expert with the stone in hand that these aren't having a negative effect on brilliance or transparency.

'Not shown' generally means mentioned for completeness but aren't usually a problem.
