Colored Stone E-rings/Eyecandy | Page 85 | PriceScope Forum

I recently acquired this Brinkhaus Etruscan Ring. I'm not sure if it's considered "vintage' or not but I believe it to be. I am pretty head over heels for it I also stumbled upon a beautiful estate sapphire ring to add to my collection.

August Vintage considered "Super Ideal"? | PriceScope Forum

The August Vintage European and cushion cuts are modern diamonds. They were specially designed to have the chunkier facets and taller crowns of old style diamonds, with today's maximum light performance. They are "superideal", with an antique look.

Like I said, I do see that some lovely well-made designer clothes from yesteryear could be great vintage finds if they have been well-cared-for, but I have certainly never found anything like that. It just so happens that there are a number of vintage shops in my hood, and I go in, and the shoes have worn-down heels and I look at the clothes ...

Secondary market diamond prices | PriceScope Forum

These are really good questions. I've always wondered WHY the secondary market is so much lower for diamonds than retail cost. I understand (and appreciate!) the benefits that come with purchasing my stone from a jeweler, but I don't understand why the price goes down SO VERY MUCH when a diamond is sold by an individual.

there are ags0/ags000 stones of yesteryear that would not grade ags0 today with the light performance factor. ags000 is an older term that has taken on different 'shapes'. you can read more about ags000/triple zero here. it is important to know exactly what you are getting with each of these reports.

My first foray into Hanadama and Madama :-) | PriceScope Forum

I've never thought of myself as a 'pearls person'. I dipped my toe into Tahitians a few years ago and had Pearl Paradise cherry-pick a short strand of cherries, and was rather disappointed when I saw them in-person - they weren't nearly as colourful in my day-to-day lighting environments as I'd expected from photos, and they looked steely and lifeless against my skin.
