Crown of light diamond | PriceScope Forum

I just came back from a week in the Caribbean where the proprietary "crown of light" diamond is everywhere. My table mate had at least a dozen of them, rings, earrings, pendants...all I had were my ACA's.

Would you buy a diamond from Overstock.com? - PriceScope

Don't buy a diamond without a lab report on it from a reputable lab such as GIA, AGS or (perhaps) EGL. In addition to color and clarity grades, you also want to know the cut proportions of the stone. There is a HUGE difference between diamonds. Know what you are getting before your buy. Less than one diamond in 20 is well cut!

HPD's Queen Pari - 2.31 Q-VVS2 CBI - pricescope.com

Until now, all 4 of my CBI diamonds were F in color. Prior to that, my e-ring of 20+ years was a 3.01 F-SI1 pear (still have this ring). Saw a Q colored CBI that piqued my interest and thought why don't I do something out of the box and buy a warm colored diamond.

I think that if Leonid ever decides to put together a FAQ on online diamond buying (for vendors and customers), he ought to link this thread, together with the threads on Derco, Barmakian, Stuart Moore, and the one in the steam room, for examples of how and how not to respond to a bad review on an internet diamond forum.

Quality of Henri Daussi | PriceScope Forum

Fact is that Daussi diamonds have some very vocall detractors on this forum. Put that together with Kenny's irrational dislike of anything I do and you get an answer like the one above. Shallow diamonds can be very beautiful. I'm interested in how I' was supposed to get lights behind the diamonds when they are in a ring on someone's finger.
