Hi everyone, I haven''t posted much... but I need some advice. I am going to look at some Tacori settings at a trunk show on Friday. I have done a search of Tacori on here and read some problems that they might be having with quality.

Don't worry, someone thought my blacks were doublets too. And I had the same Wait WTF?! initial reaction. If it's nagging you... IMO for a beloved stone an appraisal or a GIA report for ...

Good analysis of 1. De Beers 2. Syn Diamonds | PriceScope ...

As someone who had viewed the Kimberly process as dishonest at the time, I did not consider it dishonest to market mmd as conflict free. Thus the mined diamond industry never lost me as a customer to mmd because I was never one to begin with. Maybe if the Kimberly process is fixed in its review that completes in 2019 I’ll have a change of heart.

Diamonds, labeled as ''Fancy Red'' by GIA are extremely rare. As such, it is difficult in a way to establish ''real current value''. On the other hand, we can find articles on historic pricing in auctions. The following info comes from ''Gems & Gemology in Review - Colored diamonds'', a book published by GIA this Summer, page 178.
