Consolation money to the "losing" jeweler? | PriceScope Forum

The stone from the out-of-state jeweler is a 1.85 E VS1 (it's a good VS1 as it's difficult for me to find the GIA cert-listed inclusions in a loupe), for a total price of $17,800. From my dealings with this jeweler, all via email, my impression is that this is a fair deal for everyone, and I tend to believe that.

Welcome and thank you for your review. I hope you don't mind that my opinion is different from yours. Gemstones aren't like diamonds; to get a fine quality stone within a month means either overpaying or sacrificing another C like colour, size, cut or treatment.

I just don't think most jewlers get the proportions very well. However I have to say that the jeweler really got this one right. I think the double claws help balance the RB with the baguette's and look quite elegant. This is the first time I will say that I love this design with an RB (when done right!)

What to do with extra diamonds?? | PriceScope Forum

A bypass twin stone RHR? You'd probably need a custom mounting. There are infinite design variations. I just attached this photo so you'd know what I meant by bypass twin ring. This ring is on eBay. edit: Just read where you didn't want a ring. I put real diamonds in rings and save sims for earrings & pendants that I can't see, lol.
