Philadelphia Jewelers Row, one person''s experience ...

In return, I’d like to describe my 3-week experience over 10 stores looking for a stone in Jeweler’s Row in Philadelphia. I chose each store based on at least one positive review on the web. At each store, I described what I wanted: Princess cut, 1-5-2.0 carat, AGA cut II or better, Color G or better, Clarity SI or better.

Jewelers Row Philadelphia | PriceScope Forum

I'm new to the forum and am looking for some advice on ring shopping in Philadelphia. I've been reading reviews on all the different shops in Jewelers Row. Most of the reviews I've come across describe the customer's experience at that individual shop instead of comparing it to other shops on JR. Has anyone recently shopped here?

If you do end up going the light box route and need it reset I know a great bench jeweler who could do it if Golden Nugget doesn’t work out. She’s awesome and prices things really fairly while doing good work. She made my 5 stone ring and my pendant and has bezelled many stones for me lol. I also second taking a glance at Preloved.

Super sparkly and the cut seems totally acceptable. In the future I probably wouldn’t go below a 0.4 carat with them for a given stone- the 0.2s were significantly less sparkly than my Costco diamonds of a comparable (or slightly smaller) size. ... (pawn, gold resale), you’d only get some percent of spot price and often without regard to ...

When using the aset scope what would a fake diamond look like? Plus when using the fog test is true that fog for more than 4 sec is a fake? Thanks

I love the sparkle and the golden color. So... I''ll definitely be getting more zircons. But it doesn''t look like the picture. In the picture it looks solid gold. IRL the middle is... well windowed I think. It looks like the outside is a golden frame for a light champagne window in the center. So it''s definitely cut way too shallow.
