My Rosey Blue-Green Gem Silica Ring | PriceScope Forum

Hello All! As some of you may remember I was recently-ish given a 14mm cushion shaped blue-green gem silica from my beau for Mothers Day. It was his first purchase for me alone that was perfect for me in all ways and I was gobsmacked as the poor guy cannot tell solid 14k from gold plated; he thinks its all "real" gold.

What metal colour for setting "Lagoon" J.White Indicolite ...

Re: What metal colour for setting "Lagoon" J.White Indicolit AJ, try putting the stone next to (or on) a copper coin to get an idea how you'd like RG; that will get you sort of close. It should emphasize the blue. Yellow gold would make it show a little more green.

Picture accuracy is extremely difficult (your location is different from the vendor's, the time of day, etc all come into play) which is why good vendors have a review and return policy in play. I also always keep in mind that a vendor's photograph always shows the stone in the best light, so my expectation is almost always lower.

How do you describe seafoam green? Any photos? Is it as pretty and intriguing of a color in real life as I''ve seen in the photos? And, I guess the most common stone to find it in is tourmaline?

My DK/Jerry Newman/Zircon adventure | PriceScope Forum

Last year I bought an original art deco 18k wg ring. One of those, "well, dang, I'm going to have to buy that" deals. But the 10.5 mm zircon was in rough shape with facet abrasions and a girdle chip.
