Macy''s Diamonds -- To good to be true??? | PriceScope Forum

Macy''s doesn''t actually operate any of their jewelry counters. Those counters are leased and operated by Finlay Fine Jewelry, a company that is easily the least-known large jewelry retailer in the country (I think they''re top-10 something by sales). Finlay operates most of the department store jewelry counters out there.

Planetary Gems - Experiences? | PriceScope Forum

Well, I had actually been meaning to post this, so this seems like as good of a spot as any to do so. I was trying not to post in a way that came off like an attack, as I wish them no ill will, but I would never personally do business with them after my experience.

GemsNY.com Reviews | PriceScope Forum

Welcome and thank you for your review. I hope you don't mind that my opinion is different from yours. Gemstones aren't like diamonds; to get a fine quality stone within a month means either overpaying or sacrificing another C like colour, size, cut or treatment.

Philadelphia Jewelers Row, one person''s experience ...

In return, I’d like to describe my 3-week experience over 10 stores looking for a stone in Jeweler’s Row in Philadelphia. I chose each store based on at least one positive review on the web. At each store, I described what I wanted: Princess cut, 1-5-2.0 carat, AGA cut II or better, Color G or better, Clarity SI or better.

TAKA Jewellery | PriceScope Forum

actually I''m buying earnings for my Prom night in school. Although TAKA''s jewelry seems fine to me, but I''m still uneasy about its price, seems like its diamonds are "cheap". And there must be a reason for it, which the first impression of low quality.

Thoughts on this Costco necklace? | PriceScope Forum

I've browsed WF, BGD, etc and didn't see anything I really liked in my price range (under $2000). And I'd like to be able to just click to buy with reasonable confidence versus work with a vendor to design something. I support Costco as a company in general but haven't bought fine jewelry there before.
