    How did you decide?

You can't go wrong with either of those! I've seen a cbi in person, an outstanding sparkle bomb. And the AVC is legend. I guess you have to start by deciding which pulls you more? A round or cushion? I like all the shapes, but round (and old cut) for me ultimately.

Opinions on these fancy yellow elongated cushions?

And Parks fine group on IG has yellow cushions often.

Opinions on these fancy yellow elongated cushions?

Have you checked Diamonds by Lauren? They are known for their yellow stones, like this one: http://www.diamondsbylauren.com/index.php/jewelry/160ct-yellow-vvs2-cushion-diamond-r8703

Help setting an O colored 1.59ct AVC diamond

Elle, Amy says they have only 18k yellow or 18k rose, but it's kind of peachy. Think I'm chickening out anyway...

Engagement Ring - Antique Old Mine Cut - DFW

I'm also in DFW, and had the same quest. Ultimately, I bought from Parks Fine Group , also in NYC...but great prices and a good eye. He also will meet with you by appt in NYC. He's also a jeweler and can make the custom setting, at good prices.

    Yummy vanilla 1.93ct R AVC

Love it! I love the warm stone with the whiter melee...and the little bit of rose gold...perfect choice. Can't wait to see your pics Friday!

Which Old Cut Diamond would you choose and why?

Exciting! Be sure and post pics when you get it!

Which Old Cut Diamond would you choose and why?

I like them both! Do you like one better? I guess it comes down to what you are looking for. Did you have something in mind for a round stone? Or are you looking to use the setting you already have, that the old miner fits? They have a nice 30 day return policy, whichever platform you choose...

Which Old Cut Diamond would you choose and why?

My Diamond Zone on Ebay is same company as Ivy&Rose on Etsy. I like the stats on this one, not far off on price from another you posted. https://www.etsy.com/listing/725225580/136ct-certified-j-vvs2-excellent-cut Personally, I'd avoid a stone that's shallow and "spready" like option 1 you...

    Help with shoulder design please!

Thank you all for your feedback! The middle one with the flush set stones and engraving is my fave, but I was unsure if it would look ok! I feel much more confident about it now! Yes the little oecs are graduated in size, so should work fine. Their engravers are fabulous, so I have no worries...

Looking for your input on 2 diamonds I am looking at. In my heart of hearts I want a higher color diamond, Ideal cut X 3, soft light yellow candlelit.

An M will be whiter. I have an N, a soft creamy white in some light, more light yellow in others. I love it. But not sure if I'd ever describe it as "champagne". To me, a champagne color would have a slight brown/beigy yellow.

    Help with shoulder design please!

Just got the plastic on my final cad and (darn it!) I don't like the shoulders. They look very mid century to me, but I'm going for a more deco look. And I'm nervous about having prongs. I wear gloves and wash my hands all day at work. So I thought maybe do flush set like on a ring DK did last...

Looking for your input on 2 diamonds I am looking at. In my heart of hearts I want a higher color diamond, Ideal cut X 3, soft light yellow candlelit.

When you hold them next to each other, does one not appeal more than the other? Are they very close in color? I like an N for the color, the creamy white in some lighting, warmer in others. It is a good idea to reach out to AV (if you aren't in love with one of the stones in hand). He...

Help setting an O colored 1.59ct AVC diamond

Well after what was to be final cad, I'm feeling like the shoulders are too mid century , not deco. I'll do a thread later for feedback, opinions. I just want this to be IT for a long while, so being very critical!
