Hi
Just wondering if anyone could try identify if my earrings are CZ brought them from a thrift shop, no maker mark , did the magnet test didn’t stick , might be gold . Will be going to a jeweller to check them out .

What do you think CZ or some other stone ?? 1700A44E-EF6F-4263-B519-157D8C35B80B.jpeg 130DB3FF-5573-4A71-B18E-CD3BFDEA6EE8.jpeg B714804E-9B52-49C6-B7F1-C9C164AA14E2.jpeg 2F72810D-6404-4438-AB92-470E2C7FA1AB.jpeg

The only way to know is to have them tested. Are they marked as gold?

Hello , no mark on them , will take them in to a jeweller just something different about them to me makes them look different to all the other fake gold jewellery I’ve ever brought I brought them from an op shop tried the magnet didn’t stick , could be gold plated I don’t know for certain .

I have a diamond tester I picked up super cheap online. It doesnt screen for moissanite, but I can screen out CZ's and other stones. Did you look at the stones under a loup? Real diamonds would tend to have inclusions. The center stones have a different color than the outer stones.

I do have a loop and the middle stone has by the looks of it tinny specks of what looks like bubbles or dust I can really see the smaller diamonds inclusions

Those smaller outer diamonds seem to have various shades and colors like real diamonds might have. A pawnshop or jeweler can let you know pretty quickly.

Clean the earrings first and then post closeups. I do not see refraction like diamonds here but could be the dirt. Once they are clean, we can see light return, facet junctions, etc. far better. But we only see pix, if you want to know for sure, bring them to a gemologist or reputable jeweler.
