New ring 1.5 carat

When husband and I got married 14 years ago we were poor college students. I’ve always wanted a single stone solitaire.

Little did I know he has been taking notes over the years on how big I wanted it etc. He also did extensive research. I always figured when it was time to upgrade I would tell/show him exactly what I wanted.

A week ago we were talking and he slipped that he had already purchased a ring. Fast forward and I’m showing him some ones I had favorited from Blue Nile. Kid you not, he picked the exact one I had in my comparison list.

1.5 carat excellent all around, VS2 I color with the petite nouveau 6 prong setting. Finger size is 4.5.
