That other thread about the 1ctw princess cut earrings from Costco, made me realize that I HAD to buy earrings for myself asap!!!! So today we were out with DH and he offered to get me a pair of 0.70 tcw round cut solitaire diamond earrings from a reputable jeweler here at the place where we are on vacation! I admit that I would have preferred to choose the diamonds online and according to my own preferences, but he seemed to be so excited and happy that he would be able to buy and offer these earrings to me and have the pleasure of seeing me wearing them immediately, that I couldn't resist agreeing to the purchase !
The diamonds are VS1 clarity and G colour and they look as white as my E colour engagement ring diamond, obviously since they are much smaller! They are very sparkly and they seem like a nice size for my small ear lobes!
As always, my photos are not very good but, hey, I tried!!!!

I'm so excited about these earrings that I don't want to take them off, even though I have to go to sleep soon! DH is laughing and says: "But you can't even see them when they are on your ears and if you are sleeping, nobody else can either, so why don't you take them off already?" And I tell him: "I can't see them but I KNOW that they are there!!!"

Thank you @Rubybrick the Kelly Dog feels very “Me”. I wonder why I didn’t find it sooner. But that wouldn’t have helped because it’s just in the past couple of years that they transitioned to the T sizing system and this T1 is smaller than the old small. I love this bracelet and reach for it all the time.

I ordered something unusual. A pendant from viv storms who is Jack storms wife, which used his glass art. He is a famous glass artist and his sculptures are 10k+. One day I’ll likely get one but in the mean time having a wearable example is exciting!

This is my 8 year old dear daughter's first "real" ring! A 1ct garnet set in a 14kt white gold, 4 prong setting! She is super excited about it but I think that I am more excited than her! Even though she is only 8 years old, her finger is size 5, so in fact bigger than mine, which is a size 4.75 but the ring still fits me too, especially if I stack it with my wedding band! So obviously I will be borrowing it from her!!! This summer brought a lot of bling our way! Yay for summer vacation bling purchases!!!!
