Sure is! It almost looks paraiba-ish it's so glowy and blue tinted in this photo.

You made me put an emerald on "the list" now.

Yes, it is paraiba like. It’s a bit lighter than the trade ideal, and no metallic sheen, but it does have that paraiba vibe/glow. It’s also more blue like a Chivor stone. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

@T L, how do you "clean" emeralds at home? Wipe them with jewelry cloth? How to get to the pavillions? I suppose you have a hand full of emerald rings so the "ugly" one doesn't get to see the light of day?

Warm water, a soft toothbrush and a gemstone cloth.

Thanks Junebug. It’s the ring I wear most of the time as my ering. I took Gene’s little quiz about finding your favorite type of gemstone.I thought it would be diamond or sapphire but it was spinel! Now I’m wanting a red cushion cut spinel but my budget says “ now way” to that one .

Those ring, on the left is tourmaline while the right is garnet. The loose stone, green are peridots which weight at 12 carat and 6 carats. The light bluish green loose stone is tourmaline. While the dark red is garnet and the dark orange stone is spessartite

I wish I knew what the center stone was. It's blue-green like a tourmaline, but the inclusions make me hesitate to say paraiba. It could also be an emerald cab? Maybe?
