That's extremely thoughtful and i'm sure it was taken as such. It didn't seem like any of the stones i had asked about were any good anyway, so it's great that a lot of value came out of the thread. For some reason I keep going back to https://www.bluenile.com/diamond-details/LD12355234. It scores a 1.8 on the HCA, but you had brought up that there are probably better options out there. And for such a purpose, it makes total sense to seek out the best possible option. I was hoping to get the stone by a certain date, but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen, so i now have more time to look. I'll keep bugging you guys as i come across better options, so hopefully you and the others won't mind : ) Thanks again for your constructive feedback and input.

This one probably scores under 2 on the HCA, which is great. But if you are ok spending 18k, then I'm back to recommending Whiteflash for their superior upgrade policy and customer service.

G color, eye clean SI1:

Thanks for sharing those. I was hoping not to go under VS2 and H, but as long as SI1 is eye clean i guess it doesn't really matter. The one I shared from Blue Nile scored a 1.2, so you were right.
