Help identifying this makers mark? Harry Winston?

Hello PS! I am a long time lurker but I don’t think I have posted here before. I recently purchased this beautiful pear cut emerald and diamond baguette platinum ring. I was told it is a vintage Harry Winston from the 60s. I have been researching to try and find this stamp for Harry Winston but the only makers marks I can find are “Winston” or the H on top of the W with a frame around it. Does anyone have any ideas what mark this could be? It’s a beautiful ring but I’m not sure if it’s from Harry Winston. Thank you in advance.

I don’t think it’s a Harry Winston ring. His hallmark is definitely either the HW in the cartouche shape or Winston. His rings are also stamped PT950.
The hallmarking is also a bit “scrappy” for a fine piece by Harry Winston.
I think the person who sold the ring just assumed that “HW” meant Harry Winston.
Did it come with papers /box or a verification from an accredited appraiser ?
If not, hopefully you didn’t pay extra for the name as I don’t think it is a Harry Winston ring.
It’s still a very beautiful ring though.

Dunno... Cartier would answer that question. I would try to find out if HW does too.

The ring looks the part.

I too have a ring with old cut diamonds that has the HW mark like yours. However it is 18k white gold. I don't think it is Harry Winston. I got it at a pawn shop in Phoenix and I don't think I'm that lucky.

Harry Winston charges $1,000 to authenticate a piece.

The other reason why I doubt it’s a genuine Harry Winston ring is that it’s stamped 10% iridium. That means it’s a 900 assay platinum.
All Harry Winston platinum pieces are 950 Platinum.
900 /1000 is a lower assay Platinum.

Hello, I found your post while searching for the info on the same markings of a ring I have.

Did you ever find an answer? I have not...

Thanks

No, the top appears to be a diamond, but the baguettes and everything else look just like yours.

I'm taking it to get appraised, so maybe I'll get more info I can share...
