Browsing Gucci.com this morning and I saw this.

She doesn’t look too happy....lol

I really like Gucci's current stuff because it is TOO MUCH and very entertaining. I own only some shoes and a wallet from them, but gosh do I enjoy the sheer maximalism of the outfits on their website, even if I would not wear them. They're definitely making a statement. It's the opposite of Coco Chanel's “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off" quote. It's instead like "Before you leave the house, raid your closet and put on the weirdest thing you find. Then do that again. Maybe add socks with your sandals? A weird hat? Ok, now you're good. No, don't worry about it matching. Matching is overrated."

Plus the stores have these really creepy teddy bear mannequins and I love them. They're so weird and offputting.

Gucci is always the busiest of the high-end stores near me, and apparently the most popular current fashion brand, so whatever they're doing is working.
