No worries @Sabrina31 and @foxinsox, I was only using my stone in this setting because I had so many in my phone but this setting is not for me, I was helping out a friend who is considering this setting

Yes, we both like the old box head or miracle mounting (as my mom always called hers).
But I think your current setting is authentic and perfect! Finding that ring was your miracle!
I'm still looking in old shoe boxes at yard sales. I also look down a lot when walking in parking lots
