Hi, everyone. Sharing my new set. I repurposed some stones from a 5-stone and a 3/4 eternity for the side stones here.
The center is a 1.2 G SI1 oval, surrounded by two .26 Gs and two .09 Gs.
I also got a new hand-engraved band. I love it. It is actually my first wedding "set," after almost 30 years of marriage.

Beautiful! Happy (almost) 30th anniversary and what a gorgeous (first) wedding set. LOVE!

Love these rings - such an elegant size!

Here's my new 1.4ct I SI1 from BN in platinum, set by DKJ. This diamond will be upgraded next year, but I decided to do something with the money I had put aside for that ring now, so I could enjoy something in the meantime. It won't be a huge upgrade - aiming for 1.75 ct for this, something in the G/H range with VS clarity - and will set it in a three stone setting. But for now, this is where I am, and I think it's very sweet and wearable.

1.23 E SI2 CBI in High Performance Diamond’s New York Classic six-prong (platinum). I’m a size 7 finger—the ring was made to size 7.5 so that I could stack.

Gorgeous diamond and ring!!!

Ummm @KristinTech sorry for minor derail but ... why do you need a larger size so that you can stack? I know that wider rings sometimes need to be a larger size .. but for a stack, would you not put on one thin band at a time, eliminating the need for larger size? I am curious so that I don’t make a size mistake when getting matching bands.

And just because I’m posting here, here is my ACA, 1.716 D VVS2:

No, because the end result is the same- 4mm of ring on the finger and displacing the padding on the palm side.

I love that ring as a RHR :kiss2: How tall is it off your finger?

I think it’s just due to the shape of my ring finger... everyone is different. I tend to get a “muffin top” effect if I stack 3 or 4 together. Some ladies here have talked about their fingers being shaped more like a triangle/pyramid—widest at the bottom and tapering thin toward the fingernail. Get some inexpensive bands to play around! :wavey:

@KristinTech - my ring finger is exactly the same. Even if I wear no ring, I still have an indentation - especially on the right hand side and even on the top. My rings aren't tight at all, but I worry that sometimes they might look like they are. A tight ring on my right hand ring finger looks looser than a loose ring on my left hand ring finger. It's annoying, but not much I can do about it.

Same. I get muffin top when I stack more than 2 rings because of the way my finger is shaped. The section between my palm and first knuckle is shaped like a barrel, so as the rings stack up, that barrel gets squeezed and spills over the top unless the top ring (usually my e-ring) is a larger size.

This is me too. My fingers are not big, but fleshy up to that first knuckle. When my hands are hot, the last ring on (pear) slices into the pad of my finger underneath. I often have to wear my eternity on my RH to stop the discomfort if i’m hot. All 3 of my rings are a size 5.25 & I don’t want to size up the pear, as without the eternity on there it is fine & even lose in the cold & I often just wear it with my band alone. First World problems o_O

Thanks @KristinTech for the explanation! That didn’t even occur to me, lol. I’m glad I asked!

@Wewechew - thank you! I actually wear it on my left middle finger as I would beat the heck out of it if I wore it on my right hand. I’m attaching a profile shot ... I think it’s about the right height for me.

Thank you, @bling_dream19. :)) I wish I'd taken the photos on a sunny day, *not* in a coffee colored room! These AVRs pick up the colors of wherever they are with a vengeance, so next time - outside for sure!

And there are some lovely additions to this thread! Gorgeous ring, @bling_dream19 - you can see the quality of that stone from a mile away. And I love the balance of the whole set. Just lovely!

@astaeria - how perfect is that photo?! Your gorgeous hands, that beautiful wedder, topped by that oh-so-elegant e-ring! Just stunning! I'll bet you get a LOT of comments and compliments!

@Nymf - wow! Love your e-ring! And can you share the specs on your wedder? There's some real oomph in that combo! Eye-catching and spectacular! Is it an anniversary style or an eternity?

And FL_runner - I do so love a good pear! Can you share your finger size? The ring-to-finger ratio is just lovely! Do you have a preference between this beauty and the stunner in your avatar? What a great choice to have to make every morning when you put on your jewelry!

Very nice, ladies! :wavey:
